Is he pulling my leg for valentines day?

my boyfriend from oct.16.2007 said he was getting me a dozen tube tulips for valentines day. he normally doesnt tell me what hes getting me and he just straight out told me this time. he said they were more than 100$. is he pulling my leg about the price or is he getting me something eles and trying to throw me off?
