Question Of a mounted police horse trample a suspect.?

Well, I can't get to the pic., but you have to remember that these horses spend all day almost every day with their rider. They are very, very, very, closely bonded to their rider. If the rider felt threatened, the horse did too, and the horse feels protective of its rider because of their close bond. I do not think that the horse was upset by doing what it did, but it may have been upset by the crazy, obviously violent suspect doing whatever he was doing
