How to get boogers off of kittens nose?
We've got a new kitten, (she is 9 months old but we've had her less than a week) she's got some dark crusty-clumped "boogers" inside but near the front of her nostrils. The kitten isn't super comfortable around us yet and I don't want to scare her more than I must. I've tried a damp washcloth but I can't keep her calm while it loosens everything up; she wants to squirm away. It seems like the boogers are blocking some of the air flow and I need to get them gone. How can I do this without scarring the little girl away while she's still getting used to us, the new surroundings and another cat? Thanks for any help you've got!
