My wedding dress doesnt have a train should i go with cathedral veil?

You certainly can if you want to--just be aware that a cathedral length veil is very long. I've seen more of them ruined by getting accidentally closed in the car door in the ride from a beauty salon to the church. I work in a bridal salon, and have actually gotten phone calls from brides who have ruined their long veil on the way to church--they're very fragile, and it's easy to do. Technically, a cathedral length veil is for the most formal of weddings, and accompanies a cathedral length train on the very formal gown, a gown with no train is generally much less formal, and geared for a destination/beach wedding. But, as I'm sure many people will tell you, it's YOUR wedding, you do what you like, and wear what YOU want to in order to feel like the bride you want to be. Best wishes to you!
